Our time at The Galley ends on the 16th April .
We opened our business in May 2013 and we have been overwhelmed with all the support from all of you , especially in recent years from our locals in uncertain times for hospitality.
We would like to notify you also that any unused vouchers purchased within a years expiry will need to be redeemed before this date .
Business will continue as usual so we look forward to providing our much loved menus to you until then.

Set right on the beautiful marina in the quaint coastal village of Whitehills, The Galley offers stunning views across the harbour for diners whilst you sit back, relax and enjoy the varied menu available.
In addition to our standard menu we also offer a selection of daily specials which are determined by the availability of local market produce. We also offer a special lunchtime menu and and on Monday’s we offer a dedicated pensioners menu which changes on a weekly basis.
Due to the popularity of our restaurant we strongly advise advanced booking in order to avoid disappointment.

There were so many great choices we struggled to choose starters eventually opting for a variety to share. Gambas, scallops & black pudding, brie pots with bacon, cranberries and walnuts hit the sharing options for our table. The waitresses were brilliant making our time in the venue more than pleasurable offering useful tips and suggestions. Will be back again. .
Went for meal here on New Year’s Eve and the food and service was great. We had family members visiting from overseas and the weather was really windy and cold. As it was New Year’s Eve it was hard to get taxi to take us home, so the kind staff offered to give us a lift home which was going above and beyond amazing service. Up there with the nicest food we have eaten in local restaurants and really friendly staff.
Lovely restaurant. Made to feel very welcome on arrival. inside is lovely with a nice seating area to have a drink before our meal. the staff could not have been nicer, we even got told to help ourselves to sweets while we waited for our table. the tables were very nicely set. there was six of us .
Everyones meal was just delicious.
This was our first visit to the Galley and we booked an early Xmas lunch which they had no problem providing for 7 of us. The food was excellent, generous portions and very well presented. The staff were lovely and the view of the boats in the harbour was nice. Complements to the chef and waitress for a lovely meal. Looking forward to another visit hopefully soon.
